Thank you to all of our new and returning members who came today. We ran through a quick group discussion of the new experiences, successes, and failures at Bash at The Beach - a demo for what we go through after every regular-season competition. After a quick re-cap, we dove right into the fun part - building. After fixing the broken intake roller (oops!) on Brick, we promptly began working on Slick 1.0. Yes, slick. Our off-season project that we can drive around, beat up, and experiment with all we want. Specs coming soon, so stay tuned. Returning members got busy right away teaching new recruits basic tools, how to use machines, and are working on building up skills that the team is going to need for build season come January.

This past Saturday, the Elm City Robo Squad attended Bash at the Beach, an offseason event hosted by FRC Team 236 Techno Ticks at Lyme-Old Lyme High School. Thank you to all of the team members that were able to attend (and good luck to those who were stuck taking the SATs!) We'd like to thank all of our new members for attending, getting their first look at what an FRC competition looks like. Every single member on the team that attended got a chance to see what it's like behind the glass! We couldn't be prouder of everyone and we hope you all had an amazing time driving! This marks the last event that Brick will be competing in *sad face* . To celebrate, we present to you one final hang (ft. a broken intake roller) |
